We're Moving!

 Flynn and I will be moving this week into a new house!! This will be the first time I have ever rented a house and to be honest I am super pumped! I've been spending weeks trying to figure out how everything should be decorated. Unfortuneately for me I am a broke college student so I mainly end up drooling over all the awesome rooms on pinterest :(. I have however found some great D.I.Y. ideas that I can't wait to try.


The new house is an older 4 bedroom and 2 bathroom house. Flynn and I will be living with three other girls and one other puppy (Barley). I move in this week and this is the part I hate the most. I HATE packing and unpacking! I do however know that it will be worth it and that this school year is going to be a great one. 




Here are a few pictures of our new home. I think it has lots of potential but I do hate the itty bitty kitchen lol.

Review of Nutro's Natural Choice Crunchy Treats

 These treats are Ahhhmazing!! Flynn isn't real crazy about crunchy treat but he eats these right up. I love that the are wheat free and they are supposed to clean teeth and freshen breath! I got the apple flavor for Flynn, mainly because they smell awesome. They are newer on the market according to the lady from Pet Supermarket who pointed them out to me. (side note: I just discovered Pet Supermarket and I'm loving it! They carry items my main pet stores don't. I will be going back again.) They come in other flavors like blueberry, carrot, and they just came out with peanut butter. And even better is they are very affordable! I paid like  $5 for the small bag which has is 10 0z (which is a large amount of treats for my 3lb dog) and they come in a larger size for like $7. I definitely will be buying these again!

World Meet Barley!

This is my roommates new westie puppy!!! His name is Barley Mac and he is ten weeks old currently!!!.

I have been babysitting while she is on vacation! He is a little stinker lol. He has to get into everything. But he loves Flynn the only problem is Flynn will only play with him for a little while before walking away, and Barley just has more and more energy. I captured the picture below after we returned from a long and tiring walk. He finally crashed for a little while, but an hour later he was up and ready to play again.

 So I was going through all of my fabric the other night. I wanted to put together some more bandannas.I left the room to go get some scissors. When I came back I found this....

Flynn decided he didn't want me to use any of this fabric. He was laying  on top of my fabric until I started putting the sewing stuff up.

I guess this means I should go fabric shopping!!!.

Sewing Progress

 So after discovering Pinterst last year I have a long list of DIY that I want to try. It inspired me to get a sewing machine. So I asked for one for Christmas, I couldn't really sew anything but now six months later and I have started making several things. Doggie Bow Ties, Reversible Doggie bandanas, and Doggie jackets have kept me busy this past week. Mhmmm There seems to be a patern in my projects.

 Hello everyone!! Mommy is letting me write today's bloggie post, and I decided that you should all know a few things about me!
Names: Mainly Flynn but I sometimes get called Flynnigan or Flynni-win (not sure  why she calls me this??)


Favorite Treats: Of course I love all treats but I just can't get enough of Yogurt Treats they are just soooo yummy.


Favorite Toy: A tie between my big oinky rubber pig and my soft hedgehog.

Best Trick: Dance-Dance- I stand up and dance in a circle. Everyone loves when I do this and I love all the attention.

Smoky Mountains

 Flynn and I just got back from our first vacation together, and overall everything went smoothly. We visited Pigeon Forge, TN for a week. We stayed on a campground in a camper so it was somewhat better than having      him in a hotel. The place we stayed is called Clabough's it was very pet friendly as long as all the pet parents pick up after their animals. We went with my parents, brother, sister, and their dog Katie (Flynn's favorite doggie friend). While I didn't get to do a lot of things with Flynn off the park he still had a great time meeting all the other pets.  I wish I would of had my camera on our walks more. :( sadly I only got a few shots of him on our walk. Guess I need to learn some better camera skills.  Pigeon Forge is very family friendly though. My family and I visited the Rainforest Zoo and the Nascar Speed Park both great places worth the money. The rest of our vacay was spent lounging around the campground. I love meeting all the new puppies since I am a huge animal lover. My favorite was a beautiful English Mastiff, and I even saw a beautiful Vizsla (never seen one in person before). My family stayed at the campground two years earlier before we had dogs and then we met a very nice man and women that owned a Newfoundland Puppy( even though he came up to my hip) and a westie. I love staying in a camper and look forward to more road trips with Flynn. I am already looking forward to the Atlanta Pet Expo in October. Here are a few photos from our trip!

Mom's crafting again *Sigh*

 So mom has started to craft again. I hate when she does that because she ignores me. Even though I try to get her attention it fails.... It's all that machine's fault. Mom got it for Christmas and I loathe it. Mom calls it a sewing machine. She says she is going to try to make me things too. YIKES! Here is what she has made so far she even used me as a model too.

On the Road... Well Almost

 So mom and I are hitting the road in June to go camping with mom's family and my bff Katie. We are going to a campground in the Smokey Mountains for a week. I have never been camping and I don't no what to expect. But I am excited!! Ill get to go on walks and meet the other doggies there. Maybe I'll make new friends. Mom, however, has been trying to make sure she is prepared for me since this will be our first vacation. If you have any advice comment and let us know!

Bath Time Yikes!!

Nothing but a boring weekend.....

Mommy and I did not do anything this weekend!! I'm ok with it though since I needed a peaceful weekend. I just lounged around all weekend and cuddled with mom. She was so surprised how cuddly I was since sometimes I want be still. Mommy did have something called Formal this weekend. I don't know what that is but I know my mommy got all dressed up and looked so nice in her long dress. I think it had something to do with her Sorority. I like her Sorority the girls always give me lots of attention when I go visit them. Anyway so mom got all dressed up and went to that thing, and that was all that happened this weekend. Hopefully thing will be fun this week. Since I'm all rested up its time to play and zoom and drive mommy crazy!!!!! Look I even got dressed up Too.

Does Flynn Need a Sibling?

In  honor of National Sibling Day I started thinking about possibly getting a new dog/puppy. I have thought about the idea often but I am not sure if having another dog would be good for Flynn. He loves my mothers dog and most other dogs he meets. He has never reacted aggressively to anything or anyone. I think it would be good for him to have a companion. I have thought about adoption, but I have really started to think about fostering dogs. If anyone has experience on fostering I would love your advice and tips. Thanks to all!!

Easter Weekend

Hello everyone Flynn here!! So mom decided she would let me talk today. First of all I just got settled home after this horribly long weekend called Easter. On Friday mom rushed around the apartment trying to get everything ready to go so we could go stay with my great Grandmommy. I like going to her house because she gives yummy people food and mommy gets really mad. Hehe.  I have never stayed the night there and mom was worried that I would not behave. Well I was a perfect little gentleman. I didn't even have any accidents. Mom says she is so proud that my house training is going so well. Anyway when we got there mom left me inside to go unload the car and I did not like that one bit I barked and barked as loud as I could until she came back inside. Then we found out great Grandmommy was chick sitting. Apparently mommy's Aunt Sonya got her little girls baby chickens for Easter so they can grow up and collect the eggs. Well mommy fussed over those little things and I did my best to distract her. I would zoom around the room and then I would disappear so mom would have to come look for me. It was great fun. Luckily those chicky things left Saturday and I was in peace again. Sunday the house got really busy with all these people and I got a little nervous but then my favorite schnauzer Katie came with my Grandmom and I got super excited. I wouldn't let her out of my sight and I would whine when she followed her mom and try to catch up. Mommy thought that it was so cute. Then we had to leave so mom could go back to Troy for school. I was so tired I slept the whole way home and all night when we got home. Oh it is so good to be home. I hope you all had a great Easter.

Mine

I have netflix on my computer and it picks movies that I might like. One of those movies it showed was called Mine. It is a documentary about what happened to some of the dogs rescued during Katrina. I never knew how hard it was for the people who went through Katrina to get their dogs back. The movie showed some of the families who had adopted the Katrina dogs and then when the owner showed up to get their dog back the new owners did not want to return the animals. These people did not want to leave their pets, but were forced to because none of the shelters would let them bring their animals with them.  I can't even imagine what I would do if that had happened to me and Flynn. After watching this documentary I am now resigning to do everything I can to prepare for an emergency so that I can always get my Flynnigan back. I recommend that every dog owner watch this documentary it is very moving.

Pet Supply Haul!!!!!

Ever since I got Flynn I just love buying stuff for him. I always think hmmm he could use a new toy, or oh this likes nifty I'll try it. I already have a shopping problem to begin with, but  it doubles when you put me in a pet store especially non chain stores. They have products most stores don't. The other day when I went Flynn shopping I picked up several items:


Blue Zebra Toy-Petsmart (was on clearance for like 2.50)
Dental Fresh Water Additive-Pet Depot (2.99)
Travel Water Dispenser-Pet Depot (6.99)
Bully Stick-Pet Depot (1.99 Flynn loves these things!)
Wags Pet Wipes- Walmart (around $5)
Balance Pet Freshening Spray- Got at a flea market for like $10 I believe this is a newer brand and they were trying to get their name out.


I can't wait to do reviews on these items/ and go shopping again.

My Sweet Baby is Almost 1

Flynn is the first dog I've ever owned on my own. He is so spoiled, but I love every minute of it. He is not a big lap baby like I wanted but he never strays to far from my side. He loves giving me nose kisses and hates when anyone leaves the room. He is the best dog I could of ever hoped for, and in 4 months my 4lb little boy will be 1 year old. He has grown so much since he was a little bitty baby.

Weekly Reviews

   So mom wants to start doing weekly reviews on all things pet related. She already has some great stuff to review  and I can't wait to tear into to some of the stuff. This week mom wants to review a pet stroller from amazon.com. I did not like it to much because I love to be held, but my friend Katie loved it. She is bigger than me so this stroller thing meant she could come with us to all these new places.

  This was when they first put me in this thing. Its really bright (it comes in other colors and prints).  That other picture is Katie. See she just loved it and I didn't understand why. The stroller has a place where you can attach a leash and your dog to keep them from jumping out. It has cupholders and storage under it like a people stroller (at least that's what mom said). We took it to an indoor flea market and it worked great. It was also cost efficient at only $50 with shipping. Mom really recommends it and she was skeptical about pet strollers before she used one. Put now she is talking about taking me to some expo show thingy in the stroller because it worked so good.

I can't wait til our next review! This blogging thing is kinda fun!!!!

Long Weekend

   We finally got back from our long weekend yesterday and I am pooped! Mommy took us to Grand momma and Grand papa's house. They are pretty nice but I just love my mom and would only let them hold for a little while. Besides I got to see my friend Katie(schnauzer), she is really big compared to me but I won't let that stop me from playing. Also Auntie Katelyn and Uncle Carson were there. Uncle Carson would not leave me alone and I did not know why? Mom said its because he a little kid. But he's not a little kid he is 10!!! That's old!!!. I am just so glad to be home and rest. Well I am tired now going to go take a nap.

This is Flynn! He is a blue Merle Pomeranian. I am his human mom Brooke. This is the first blog I have ever done and Flynn and I are both excited to share our crazy lives with you. Sometimes I will talk and sometimes I will type as Flynn tells you his point of view. Flynn is soon to be 8 months old and my first dog.
